Data Analyst

Duties and Functions:

  1. Evaluations and problem investigation
  2. Work closely with colleagues to try and identify data related problems and solve them
  3. Conduct research and collect data which will help in continual product development that will meet client needs
  4. Ensuring high quality data is collected and integrity of the data
  5. Processing of data and coming up with reports on various projects
  6. Analysis of information using various statistical methods, trying to see patterns in data
  7. Conceptualization of data and sharing this knowledge through effective presentation of the data output with the rest of your team
  8. Developing and preparing information products to be used by the organization
  9. Developing of programs and data that can be used for data analysis and presentation
  10. Database design, security, data storage and management
  11. Upgrading of database systems to meet the needs in the market
  12. Ensuring smooth and proper running of database
  13. Assisting in the marketing of products and working in close liaison with the marketing department
  14. Spending long periods of time seated in front of a computer screen. Physical labor is rarely demanded
