Professional Regulatory Director Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement the regulatory policies and procedures in accordance with the Professional Regulatory Board authorities in the state as mandated be state or federal laws.
  • Hire and appoint the officers and clerks to administer the processing of application, examination, payment processing and license issuance for those who pass the licensure and board exams
  • Develop and implement the examination structure with inputs from the academe and veteran professionals, the state’s Board of Regents and relevant officials.
  • Outsource the printing of examination questionnaire.
  • Oversee the development and administration of the agency’s website for online processing and payments.

Professional Regulatory Director Skills and Specifications

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must have excellent grasp of the state and federal laws and regulations governing the practice of pertinent professions
  • Must have excellent organizational, supervisory and leaderships skills.

Professional Regulatory Director Education and Qualifications

  • A BS degree in the relevant course is basic
  • A master’s degree is an advantage if there’s strong competition for the position.
