Travel Ecotour Development Manager Duties and Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan and implement ecotourism events at various tourist seasons of the year
- Coordinate with travel agencies, airlines, rail and cruise companies in developing the ecotourism packages for a seamless end-to-end service
- Ensure compliance with government environmental mandates and regulations
- Meet with forest conservation foundations and agencies in designing and designating the ecotourist camping and hiking trails and providing waste management faculties in these areas
- Visit frequented ecotour sites and supervise clean-operations when required
- Ensure that only competent ecotour guides are deployed in any ecotour
- Mount relevant environmental classes for ecotourism professionals under his/here management jurisdiction
